“I was floored when I took this out of the box. The product photo doesn’t do it justice. The handle is a rich mahogany color while the strap is a warmer brown. It is solid and substantial in the hand with a fantastic balance.
The handle is made from three layers of the leather that have been laminated together and then riveted. I have tried to pry the layers apart (sadly for science) with no progress at all. This handle is not going to fall apart on you. The loop is made from heavy duty paracord that has been sealed on the ends, so that is also sturdy. The handle and the paddle have a thin engraved line that just makes it look finished. “
